Paleo Turkey Burger Sliders

It wouldn’t be summertime without lots of grillin’ and today we are whipping up some Paleo Turkey Burger Sliders. They are full of flavor, packed with protein and sandwiched between a simple sweet potato “bun.” We are in love!

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

Burger:

2 lb 90/10 ground turkey

1/2 jalapeno, finely diced

1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced

1/2 cup red onion, finely diced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

 

Toppings:

2 avocados, diced

2 large sweet potatoes, sliced into 44 discs

2 Tbs olive oil

22 toothpicks

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Toss sweet potatoes in oil, line on baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes, or until soft
  3. Combine burger ingredients and form into 22 3 oz patties
  4. Grill, bake or pan fry patties
  5. Assemble into burgers and top with diced avocado
  6. Hold patties together with toothpicks, and enjoy
