Protein Mousse with Berry Compote

We will not hesitate to admit that we have cravings. Often times, they come in the form of wanting something sweet. Especially late at night or right after dinner. When that sweet tooth strikes, sometimes you only have a couple of minutes before you cave and grab that naughty treat. Well, you’re in luck because this recipe only takes a few minutes to whip up! In addition to curbing that sweet tooth, this Protein Mousse with Berry Compote will leave you feeling satisfied and energized.

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

16 oz ricotta cheese

2 cup blueberries

2 cup blackberries

2 tsp stevia

 

Directions:

  1. Combine berries and half of the stevia in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. Stirring continuously, allow berries to cook down until a sauce forms, 3-4 minutes
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together ricotta and remaining stevia
  4. Layer compote and ricotta into four serving dishes
